The Best Roof Top Bars in Melbourne

Now that summer has arrived there is nothing better than a beer at one of our many amazing roof top bars in Melbourne. Here is my guide to the best:

Formerly The Aylesbury, Bomba Roof Top is a small Spanish inspired bar that offers a great tapas menu. Located on the 5th floor is has some great city views and they make a great cocktail for the local workers every night of the week.

Such a great Summer venue overlooking St Kilda Beach. If you like a bit of people watching this is a great venue for it! Situated right on the beach it has a great bar menu along with an extensive drinks list. It is the perfect place for an afternoon session in the sun.

At the top of the well known Richmond icon there is a hidden gem – ‘A Bar Above’. With city views and a cocktail menu designed by Londoner Tim Simon featuring mouth watering house specials you won't find anywhere else in Melbourne, and a clever selection of local and international cider, beer and wine, this place is a great place to relax.

Situated on busy Brunswick St, Naked for Satan has a great roof top balcony that is always a popular place for the locals. It is cleverly divided into a bar area and dining room, an inside and outside with warm wooden finishes and bare brick walls. With 360 degree views this bar is a crowd favourite with a rating of 91% on Urban Spoon.

Siglo is the venue that Melbourne bars needs to take notes from. As part of The Melbourne Supper Club, Siglo has continued the traditional ‘cigar bar’ feel. Packed mot nights of the week this venue is open til early hours of the morning serving a sharp cocktail menu. With table service and a great late night menu, Siglo is a great place to finish any evening.

The Emerson Rooftop is a great afternoon venue for a relaxed drink. After dark the crowds roll up and the place changes tune with great beats from some very well known DJ’s. With city views and a very large outdoor deck it is an impressive venue. With a delicious cocktail menu you can book out a booth and watch the sun set.

This little gem is open every day of the week for lunch and dinner, serving some of the best pizza in Melbourne. With 4 levels of entertainment, hidden at the top of Campari House is their rooftop. On the way up stop in at the different levels for all the Campari has to offer.
