When it comes to this wonderful Melbourne winter we need to start thinking more carefully on how to dress for the weather conditions and still look good! Being a brunch lover on the weekends I constantly see guys out in their trackie pants and find this unacceptable. I know it is the weekend but that doesn’t mean when you head out of the house you can’t put in a bit of effort. Now given you are going from cold Melbourne conditions outside to warm heated cafes it is important to remember to layer.
So here are some great items I have found this winter so you can still dress appropriate for the weather and look good at the same time.
Marcs woollen coat with insert ‘puffer’ jacket
This is the ultimate wool coat at it’s price point. If it is one of those horrible wet windy days add the puffer insert around the neck and look like you have a puffer vest but without having the bulk under the coat!
AG Leather Jacket
This is a bargin on sale for $399 and can be worn with an array of outfits dressed up or down.
Tommy Hilfiger knits
Great priced cashmere blend knit for the layer in your wardrobe you can find it in array of colour. This can be used in winter under your blazer as well as in summer as a light throw on.
Armarni pocket detail jeans
These are the perfect brunch jeans with the detailed red coin pocket, slightly faded but still a touch of class.
Lloyd Hector suede lace up
Lloyd never disappoint with their shoes. These casual suede lace ups are great for jeans, chinos and your suit pant.
Don’t forget all these layers can be mixed and matched and used in the rest of your wardrobe. Winter layers are great because each time you take off a layer you create a new look.
