The Winter Brunch Outfits to Impress

When it comes to this wonderful Melbourne winter we need to start thinking more carefully on how to dress for the weather conditions and still look good! Being a brunch lover on the weekends I constantly see guys out in their trackie pants and find this unacceptable. I know it is the weekend but that doesn’t mean when you head out of the house you can’t put in a bit of effort. Now given you are going from cold Melbourne conditions outside to warm heated cafes it is important to remember to layer.

So here are some great items I have found this winter so you can still dress appropriate for the weather and look good at the same time.

Look 1:

This is the ultimate wool coat at its price point. Great winter coat for all occasions when he weather calls for it.

This is a great winter investment and can be worn with an array of outfits dressed up or down.

Great priced Merino wool knit for the layer in your wardrobe you can find it in array of colour. This can be used in winter under your blazer as well as in summer as a light throw on.

Love this simple big check for a touch of detail but not over the top check! Great colour to have in the wardrobe that will tie back with most colours.

Marcs do a great option for chino's with a slim fit and a more regular cut. Their fabric is stretchy which is great for comfort.

Colorado never disappoint with their shoes. These casual boot lace ups are great for jeans, chinos and your suit pant made with European fabric.

Always get a belt to match your shoes!

Look 2:

Another great piece from Scotch & Soda, simple, cool and sophisticated. Great on those really cold winter days with the puffer insert. Great to have the look of a puffer vest without the bulk.

Country Road knits are great they are versatile yet simple. Love this for layering in winter to add colour to an outfit.

Even if you are not into checks I think this shirt is a bit of fun! Look great with all denim not only for brunch but a night out on the town.

These Sabs jeans serve to be a great buy for the casual weekend jeans. Not a skinny leg but slim enough to still look smart.

Aquila never disappoint with their shoes. These casual brow boots are great for jeans, chinos and your suit pant.

Always buy the matching belt to go with your shoes in store if they have one!

For the added warmth in a Melbourne winter this Marcs scarf is simple but effective.

Don’t forget all these layers can be mixed and matched and used in the rest of your wardrobe. Winter layers are great because each time you take off a layer you create a new look.
